Biography

Isabelle Menin (b. 1961) is a Brussels-based artist whose digital works transform botanical imagery into lush, imagined landscapes. Drawing on a background in painting, graphic design and illustration, she photographs and scans natural elements, then layers and manipulates their forms, textures and colors. Her compositions retain the familiarity of the natural world while introducing unexpected relationships of scale, space and detail.

A graduate of the Graphic Research School (ERG) in Brussels, Menin spent a decade painting before turning to digital photography. Her work has been exhibited across Belgium and internationally, including at the Hongqiao Contemporary Art Museum in Shanghai and the Setup Contemporary Art Fair in Bologna.
