Biography

Born in 1961, Isabelle Menin is a Brussels-based artist known for her richly layered digital artworks inspired by nature. After earning her degree from the Graphic Research School (ERG) in Brussels, she spent a decade exploring painting while working in graphic design and illustration. Nature, especially flora, has remained central to her creative focus. Transitioning from painting to digital photography, Menin captures and scans natural elements, manipulating textures and colors to create lush, imaginary landscapes that are both intricate and vibrant. Her work has been exhibited extensively in Belgium, as well as internationally, including the Hongqiao Contemporary Art Museum in Shanghai and the Setup Contemporary Art Fair in Bologna.
