Self-taught sculptor Hollander approaches her work with intuition, drawing from a lifelong connection with horses and other animals. Each sculpture becomes a learning experience, guided by the creative process itself. As she explains, “It’s not a conscious decision. Sometimes I start something, get distracted, and start something else. Just the act of making something carries everything. It tells you what to do.”

Hollander blends metals and cement to create rich, varied textures that bring her sculptures to life. Her horses reflect personal memories of childhood—searching for ancient coins, exploring prehistoric caves, and embracing the traditions of the ranching community where she was raised.
