CV

A painting is a container of memory. My paintings reflect a general sense of place, rather
than a specific location. When you look at the painting, you can bring to it your own life
experience....similar to a favorite song, where over time the meaning of the song changes
as life adds more insight.
As time passes, we can watch the changing face of nature throughout the seasons, under
varied lighting conditions, including sunrise and sunset. We can come to know nature’s
subtleties, and while the rivers and skies in my paintings are imaginary abstractions, they
undoubtedly reflect memories of change and progress.
