Kenson wears many hats.

 Artist - clearly.

Tour guide - possibly.

Conduit - most certainly.

……tour guide to places that may or may not exist.

……conduit to emotions and feelings that are universally human yet deeply personal.

Kenson’s art occupies that ephemeral space between figure and abstraction; between dream and wakefulness. She reconnects you to memories you’ve yet to have. She moves you to sensations you know in your very essence to be truer than fact and somehow realer than reality.

This form of creation opens itself to fresh interpretation and perpetual reimagingings; each time you look the experience is different.  These paintings reward a passing glance or a contemplative study with layers upon layers of depth, energy, and light.

The artist stands humbled and often surprised before the purpose her art serves; connecting the viewer to beauty, to transcendence, to blissful presence in color, form and possibility.
